Experience the exceptional blend of "les Hautes Alpes" pears, picked at the height of ripeness, and cognac from the Fins Bois region, as you would any fine cognac. If you prefer something a tad lighter, try it slightly chilled on the rocks. The Williams Pears are grown in the South of the French Alpes, an area that offers an ideal environment for their growth. Pears are harvested at peak ripeness in summer, then macerated, pressed, and fermented. The resulting Poire Williams juice is distilled using steam, and the vapor is collected and cooled to form a liquid spirit. Separately, the Cognac from the "Fins Bois" region is aged in Limousin oak barrels. Just before bottling, the natural Poire Williams Liqueur marries with the fine French Cognac, to create Belle Paire.
