Benanti Family vineyards surrounding Mount Etna, is the only winery in the Etna DOC area to own vineyards on all four slopes. Benanti focuses on terroir, varietal characteristics, indigenous yeasts, and organic farming (not yet certified). Winemaking in the family dates back to the late 1800’s in Viagrande, and this deep-rooted passion led Giuseppe Benanti to establish the namesake winery in 1988.
