Description
Grape: Pinot Noir Tasting Notes: Red fruit, Spice, Savory herbs, Flint Founded in 1999, Bergstrom Wines is a family-owned and operated artisan producer of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. All estate acreage is farmed biodynamically. Their wines all express the wonderful diversity of Oregon's many great terroirs. Blended from most or all of the winery’s many vineyard sources, this is far from a basic Pinot, being reminiscent of a young Gevrey Chambertin. You do get spice, flinty, and earthy tones. It is ultimately a New World Pinot. The palate features raspberry, cherry, strawberry, pomegranate, citrus, and hints of chocolate. It has bright acidity and really fine tannins. It pairs well with Veal Marsala, mushrooms, roast chicken, or cheeses.
