Wine production began in 1976, and today Lorenza Sebasti, a daughter of one of the founding families, co-owns and manages the estate with chief enologist Marco Pallanti, on board since 1982. The 2021 vintage delivered a quality benchmark for Chianti Classico, showcased in this brilliant red. With a bit of Merlot supporting the Sangiovese-based blend, Pallanti’s modern winemaking still honors the tradition-rooted Chianti Classico region, but it’s this wine’s sense of place that speaks loudest." -WS
