Grape: 97% Sauvignon Blanc, 3% Semillon Tasting Notes: Kiwi, Melon, Grapefruit, Pear, Since 1969, Cuvaison has helped define the modern era of Napa Valley winemaking. The Schmidheiny family of Switzerland purchased the winery in 1979. They began an ambitious program of replanting to achieve the highest expression of their vineyard and the grape varieties they work with. In 2012, Cuvaison was honored by Wine & Spirits as one of the “Top 100 Wineries on the World.” The Cuvaison Savignon Blanc is silkly textured, complex, and fresh with vibrant acidity, good depth, light plus body and a minerally finish. The palate is showcasing delicious flavors of tropical kiwi, ripe grapefruit, lemon, pear. green apple, lemongrass, and honeydew melon.
