Best White Wine Value of the Year 2025 I first encountered Fess Parker at the 1999 Santa Barbara Wine Festival, then lost touch—until my daughter Havana, now living in LA, made the winery one of her favorite weekend escapes. Their whole lineup is strong, but the Chardonnay blows the price-to-quality ratio apart. Unapologetically tropical yet wonderfully pure, with no heavy oak and just enough acidity to keep it all in balance.
