Founded in 1967 by Aimé Sabon in Courthézon, Domaine de la Janasse has grown from a modest 15-hectare family farm into one of Châteauneuf-du-Pape’s benchmark estates, now spanning more than 90 hectares. Guided by a deep respect for the region’s diverse terroirs, the Sabon family combines traditional farming with thoughtful innovation to craft wines of remarkable depth and character. Christophe Sabon joined the estate in 1991, followed by his sister Isabelle in 2001, helping establish La Janasse among the Rhône Valley’s finest producers. Today, the arrival of Christophe’s daughter, Juliette, marks the third generation, ensuring the family’s commitment to excellence and terroir-driven winemaking continues well into the future.
