Description
Since the blend of Grenache (Garnacha), Mourvedre (Monastrell) and Syrah works so well in the Rhone Valley, why not give it a shot in eastern Spain? Why not indeed. This plump, crimson pour seems simple at first, but lavender and savory notes sneak in on ensuing sips. The fruit train is kept on the tracks by well-integrated tannins and refined acids which converge on the thick and satisfying finish. Bravo!
