LUSSAC SAINT EMILION 750ML

Just a few kilometres from Saint-Émilion, the vines of Lussac were first planted in Gallo-Roman times on a terrain of clay and loam. Centuries later, Benedictine monks cultivated the vineyards and helped bring their wines to prominence, even at the English court. The Château itself was built in 1876 for Gaston Montouroy and later passed to the Marquis de Sercey, whose family managed the estate until 1980. Today, under the stewardship of Sarments Vineyards, Château de Lussac is being modernised while staying true to its heritage. Set against a dramatic backdrop of courtyards and wooded grounds, the estate blends classical and Renaissance architecture.
