Classified as a Fifth Growth in 1855, Château Lynch-Moussas traces its roots back to 1610. The estate was inherited by Thomas Lynch in 1748, and later split into two renowned Pauillac properties: Lynch-Bages and Lynch-Moussas. Acquired by the Castéja family in 1919, the château saw a major revival under Émile Castéja, who restored both its vineyard and winemaking facilities. Today, under Philippe Castéja’s leadership, Lynch-Moussas continues to shine with modern precision and classic Médoc structure. The estate spans 60 hectares, and in 2001 launched its Second Wine, Les Hauts de Lynch-Moussas—reflecting the estate’s commitment to both heritage and quality. -Winery
