40% ABV. A limited release, Chateau Mars produces both Cabernet and Pinot Noir. Some of those casks are then reused to finish their whisky. TASTING NOTES: A blended whiskey that is additionally aged (finished) by putting "Iwai Tradition" in an empty barrel used for the extremely sweet sherry "Pedro Jimenez". In addition to the rich flavor of Iwai Tradition, it is a gem with oxidized aromas of sherry and elegant sweetness of brown sugar and maple syrup derived from sherry casks in a well-balanced manner.
