Description
Mastroberardino Irpinia Aglianico DOC is a classic expression of Campania's signature red grape, grown in the clay and volcanic soils of Irpinia. After a late hand harvest, the wine is aged for 10 months in oak and six months in bottle. Aromas of black cherry, blackberry, violet, and spice lead to a smooth, well-structured palate with ripe berry fruit, subtle earth, and refined tannins. A versatile food wine, it pairs beautifully with charcuterie, aged cheeses, roasted meats, hearty pasta dishes, mushrooms, and truffles.
