Jenny Wagner (daughter of Chuck Wagner) grew up in Napa Valley to two long‑standing winemaking families, so farming, getting her hands dirty and pushing boundaries came naturally. Her mother, Cheryl Emmolo, wanted to preserve the family name and vineyards, and Jenny has taken on that mission. After producing her first wine in 2011, she still feels the emotional connection to her grandparents. There is no typical day: tasks shift with the seasons. Harvest brings long days and the exhilarating scent of pomace. Decisions such as harvest timing can’t be reversed, yet she embraces this responsibility. Jenny’s grandparents taught her to enjoy life’s moments, and her parents to keep learning. She loves Merlot for its richness and aims to make dark, luxurious, balanced wines that change perceptions for modern drinkers.
