Intense purple-red colour. On the nose, this organically-farmed wine is intense and fruity. Notes of cherry, blueberry (fresh black fruit) and delicate hints of ageing. Slightly more tannic on the palate, this wine has good ageing potential. Slightly roasted notes from aging on the finish. Our Crozes Hermitage ‘Les Jalets’ comes from vineyards, located in the terraces of Les Chassis. Its name comes from the word ‘galets’ which is the Old French word for the pebbles left by alpine glaciers, as can be found at Châteauneuf-du-Pape. In order to express as well as possible the qualities of this historic terroir, we made the choice of organic viticulture, thus revealing the exceptional character of these vines. -Winery
