Description
Regaleali has been owned by Sicily’s noble Tasca d’Almerita family since 1837 and has become one of the island’s most important wine estates. Much of its modern success was shaped by Count Giuseppe Tasca, whose work over five decades helped dramatically improve both the vineyards and wines. His son Lucio Tasca continued that legacy alongside his sons Giuseppe and Alberto, bringing another generation into the family business. The expansive estate combines historic Sicilian winegrowing traditions with a modern, technically advanced winery and produces approximately 200,000 cases annually. Regaleali is also closely tied to Sicilian food culture through Anna Tasca Lanza, Lucio’s sister, who established her renowned cooking school on the family estate.
