Description
The wine opens with aromas of blue and black fruits, including ripe black plum and cherry, complemented by subtle earthy undertones. On the palate, the tannins are gracefully balanced by concentrated fruit and hints of Herbes de Provence. The mid-palate is robust and structured, leading to a creamy, lingering finish with a touch of minerality. The juicy finish makes it exceptionally food-friendly and presents an intense, rich color in the glass. Armando Note: The winery wrote the description, which I think is on the money and better than mine would have been. I can only add that this is a wine of character as well as broad appeal and one of my favorite new Cabs in the store.
