Description
In 2016, Mario Piccini, whose family has over 140 years of winemaking heritage in Tuscany, discovered a new passion on the northern slopes of Mount Etna. Captivated by the terroir, he acquired and restored the Torre Mora estate in Rovittello, farming 15 hectares organically at elevations between 600–750 meters. The loose, black volcanic ash soils give the wines a unique tension and minerality, while the winemaking philosophy is minimal—designed to let the terroir shine. Certified organic since 2018, Torre Mora produces expressive, pure wines that embody the bold spirit and natural beauty of Etna’s lava-etched landscape.
